The Cooperi tree fern is a fast growing singled trunked tree fern, with long stunning green fronds that create a wonderful canopy. This tree fern will defiantly add a tropical rainforest feel to your garden.
Light : Prefers part sun to shade. Avoid exposing it to direct, harsh sunlight to prevent frond scorching.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist. Water regularly, especially during dry periods. Mist the fronds to increase humidity, mimicking its natural rainforest environment.
Soil: Thrives in well-draining, rich, loamy soil. Incorporate plenty of organic matter to enhance soil fertility and moisture retention.
Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) to support robust growth.
Pruning: Remove dead or damaged fronds to maintain a tidy appearance. Be careful not to damage the trunk, as new fronds emerge from the top.
Temperature: Hardy down to 25°F (-4°C). Protect from frost and extreme cold, especially when the plant is young.
