Cousin it / Casuarina glauca  has a thick, dense, string like foliage, that grows over anything in its path. A weeping clump like habit growing to 1m in length.

Plant in a full sun / part shade position in a well drained soil. This plant can be used for balconies, rockeries, roof borders, ground cover, under trees, mass planting.
