A beautiful Cordyline, featuring stunning foliage that combines young green leaves and matured dark purple leaves providing a vivid burst of colour. Great for patios, pots, landscaped gardens and indoors. Prune to encourage lush, new growth. Plant in a warm, full sun or lightly shaded position. For best results, feed with a slow release fertiliser.

Light Requirements: Prefers full sun to part shade. Cordyline ‘Negra’ thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some shade. The best leaf colour is achieved with ample sunlight.
Watering: Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering during the winter months when the plant’s growth slows.
Soil: Prefers well-draining soil. Use a rich, loamy potting mix with added perlite or sand to enhance drainage.
Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) every 4-6 weeks to promote healthy growth and vibrant foliage.
Pruning: Remove dead or damaged leaves to maintain a neat appearance. Trim any leggy growth to encourage a bushier form.
Temperature and Humidity: Prefers warm temperatures and high humidity. Ideal temperature range is 65-85°F (18-29°C). Protect from temperatures below 50°F (10°C) and avoid cold drafts.
