This spectacular palm has a distinctive, three-sided, triangular-shaped trunk and strong, upright grey-green leaves which may reach 3-5m metres long.

Grows best in tropical or sub-tropical areas. Grow in container for patio or verandah or grow outdoors in a sunny open spot. Palms benefit from a couple of application of recommended fertiliser during the growing season to encourage strong, lush growth.
