Lomandra longifolia is a perennial grass native to eastern Australia, with glossy green foliage and a cream-coloured flower spike. It is fast growing, up to a maximum of 1m in height. Plant in full sun to part shade. While it thrives in moist sandy soils, it adapts easily to heavy clay and also periods of drought.
