Liriope grass is a popular garden solution for edging paths and gardens or under planting around trees. This attractive evergreen perennial has a clump forming habit that produces, glossy, grass-like arching leaves. During spring and summer foliage provides a perfect base to a profusion of violet-purple flowers held high on spikes.
Liriope grows best in a full sun to part shade position with well drained soil. It is very hardy and is drought and frost tolerant, and is also suitable for coastal gardens.
