Lanonia dasyantha is a very rare palm from northern Vietnam, with stunning mottled variegation on its deep green, fan shaped leaves. Quite cold tolerant, it can be grown outdoors here in a protected shady spot, if well watered through the hot months. Indoors, it needs a warm area with consistent moisture and humidity.
