The Agave ‘Blue Glow’ is an attractive architectural slow-growing evergreen succulent. That produces elegant blue-green, chalky leaves in a rosette habit, with finely toothed margins complemented with a golden and red. It will take over 10 years for this beauty to flower, then it will die. This Agave can used to make a statement piece in a pot or a desert style garden bed.
Grows to 30-60cm in height and 60cm – 90cm in width.
Easily grown in Sandy or gravelly soils, moist or dry and prefers a well drained soil in full sun, but tolerates part shade.
Keep in a frost free area.
Water regular in extreme heat but is quite drought tolerant.
Watch for Slugs and Snails.
