The flamethrower palm is a single trunked palm that can grow up to 5m. It has a bright new red leaf, that stays red up to 10 days or even longer. It has pinnate leaves that are very wide and thick. It is easy to grow and is a must have in a tropical garden.
The flamethrower is considered cold hardy, it prefers rich well drained soil and planted in a full sun to partial shade position.
