This stunning specimen does well in full sun but prefers a part shade position. The flower spike can take up to 15 years to produce and can be as tall as 2.5m. The plant itself can be 1.5 metres wide.
Silver plums are relatively rare and can be a collectors plant.
The Silver plum will not handle frost very well so frosty spots should be avoided and good drainage should be provided.
